Tout sur WPF, LINQ, C# et .NET en général !

[Misc] I've (me also) been tagged

Simon has decided to tag me so I need to find 5 things that you don't know about me. Here they are:

  • I'm currently in internship at Microsoft France. I'm a Pre-Sales Engineer Intern in the IW (Information Worker) team. Last year, I was a "SUPINFO Certified Trainer" and I taught .NET and Internet technologies to SUPINFO Students.
  • After passing my "baccalauréat", I've spent 2 years at the University where the only thing I've learnt was how to use Linux (yes, I know: it's bad to not follow the courses....). Before these 2 years, I've never used Linux but after "gcc", "./configure", "make" and "make install" were my favorite commands Big Smile
  • I've discovered .NET in 2002 when I was in "BTS" (a technical diploma that need generally 2 years to be prepared). My professor (who owns an IT Company) preferred .NET to Java (maybe because he started .NET projects in his company Wink) so he decided to teach .NET instead of Java. Before that, the only programming language I've used was PHP (and a little of C/C++). Since 2002, I'm learning and training myself on new technologies like WPF, C# 3 / Linq, MOSS 2007, etc... I'm a ".NET Addict" and I like discovering the new technologies Smile
  • I like doing presentations and training ! I know that I'm probably not the best but I improve myself every time I need to speak during a conference or a training. I like to explain how the things works, writing articles (even if, currently, I've not the time), etc....
  • I'm a complete beginner in VB.NET (the only thing I know is how to declare a variable): since I've started to develop with .NET, the only language I've used is C#.

Well, now I'll tag 5 persons too: Nicolas Sorel (aka Nix), Pierre Lagarde, my colleague Nay-Young Kwon, Renaud Comte (it seems he has not been tagged yet) and finally my friend Florent Santin (aka Azra)

Bye
